Middlesbrough and Norton Kick Off the new FA National League Season
The new season kicks off this Sunday as Middlesbrough and Norton both start their FA National League campaigns. Middlesbrough begin their season with a trip to Bradford City . Following their relegation from the Premier Division Boro will be looking to challenge for an immediate return but, know they'll face stiff opposition from the likes of Leeds, Durham, and Newcastle. The Bantams ended last term in seventh place and will want to build on that this time around. Norton & Stockton Ancients start the season at home against newly promoted York City . Norton finished last season in eighth place level on points with Bradford and only one point behind Stockport. It was Norton's best finish and points tally to date. After coming close to promotion on many occasions York finally earned their promotion after winning the NERWFL .
