Following the sensational way in which Middlesbrough defeated Hull last weekend, they’re back this Sunday as their FA Cup journey continues with another home tie in the Third Round. Steph Turnbull’s side welcome Wem Town (formerly The New Saints (TNS)) from The FA Women’s National League Division 1 Midlands. The reward for the winners of this game is a Fourth Round home tie against Championship side Sheffield United next week.

Pools Youth are away to Gateshead Leam Rangers in the Durham County League 1 this Sunday. After last Sunday’s narrow loss – their first ever – against Spennymoor, The Pools will be looking for a positive result to stay in the title race.

Unbeaten Billingham Synthonia host Darlington Spraire as they go looking for back-to-back wins. Spraire weren’t having the best of seasons by their standards before the enforced break but, can still pose a threat even if Synners look unstoppable at the moment.

Redcar Athletic host Guisborough in the North Riding FA Cup this Sunday as the two unbeaten sides in the league clash for the second time this season. The sides met in league back in October with the game ending in a 2-2 draw at Green Lane. With nothing separating the best two teams in the division, this’ll be an interesting match.

In the Durham County League Development Division Stockton Town are away to Durham United Development. Following last weekend’s win over Amazines, the Anchors will be looking to build on that result with another win this Sunday. A win for Stockton will see them move up the table but, could potentially move into second place depending on other results.

  Hartlepool Utd host Redcar Town at East Durham College in the North East Regional Women's Football League Premier this Sunday. Pools have had a tough start to the season losing their opening four games with a humbling away loss at Ossett Utd last weekend the first such heavy loss they've suffered. In contrast Redcar have enjoyed a very good start to the season winning three of their games and only losing by a penalty against current leaders York City. Redcar are in second place while Pools sit at the foot of the table where anything but defeat this weekend could lift off the bottom. With the quality the hosts possess, it's only a matter of time until they start registering points on the board. With York currently unbeaten and facing fellow unbeaten side Sunderland West End this Sunday, it's important for Town to keep pace wit the league leaders. They'll also be looking to maintain their momentum ahead of next week's FA Cup game against National League Leeds

Weekend Preview: Guisborough Town Reserves v Boro Rangers - Middlesbrough Development v Redcar Athletic - Kader v Old Malton St Mary's - North Riding League

  Boro Rangers begin life in the North Riding League with a Teesside derby at Guisborough Town Reserves. Boro Rangers will be a very different side with a lot of changes for the new season. Guisborough Reserves will continue to grow and improve and this will be an interesting game to see where both sides are. Redcar Athletic start their campaign with a Teesside derby at Middlesbrough Women Development. On paper, Boro Devs look to have a competitive side with the addition of players like Vicky Gunn, Tyler Sharp and, Ebony Housam, among others. Athletic are always competitive and will be eyeing a place at the top or as close as come the end of the season. Kader return to the senior leagues this season with a home game against fellow newcomers Old Malton St Mary’s .

Weekend Preview: Leeds Utd v Middlesbrough - Norton v Chorley - FA Women's National League Division 1 North

Middlesbrough look to make it three wins from three this Sunday as they travel to West Yorkshire for a big match against Leeds United in The FA National League . Boro have started the season with back to back wins and hope to make a treble this weekend as they bid for an instant return to the premier division. Leeds are currently fourth in the Division 1 North after three games. They won their opening game against Hull 1-0 at home before losing away to Barnsley. The hosts also won their third game in midweek 4-0 at home against Stockport. Last weekend Boro had to dig in against Chorley to come from behind to claim three points for the second game in a row. Norton & Stockton Ancients host Chorley this Sunday looking to maintain their unbeaten start to the season. Following Wednesday night's well earned point at Durham Cestria, Norton are in sixth place with five points from their first three games while Chorley are just two points and one place behind.
