Middlesbrough are out of the Vitality Women's FA Cup after going down 0-9 at home against Sheffield United. The score did not reflect the game with a solid effort from Steph Turnbull's side. The game was marred by some very questionable refereeing decisions but, the Blades were clear winners in a tie many had expected them to win.

Pools Youth
returned to winning ways this afternoon as they defeated Birtley Town 6-0 at home. Mid-way through the first half Rebecca Smith gave the Pools a one-goal half time lead. A Demi Burdon hat-trick and goals from Lucy O'Keefe and substitute Katie Cooper secured the hosts' first win since coming back from lockdown.

Billingham Synthonia kept their unbeaten run going with a 4-2 home win over Boldon in Stokesley. Synners lead the match 2-1 at half time and repeated the score in the second half for a third straight victory.

North Riding League leaders Redcar Athletic lost their first game this season narrowly losing 1-0 at Poppleton. The sides were deadlocked at 0-0 at the break.

Guisborough Town maintained their unbeaten record with a 1-9 win at Brompton this afternoon. Guisborough lead 1-4 at half time adding five more unanswered goals in the second half.

Redcar Town Reserves remain second in the league after this afternoon's 1-0 home win against Richmond Town. Town Reserves are now level on points with Athletic following their defeat today.

Stockton Town are up to second in the Durham County League Development Division after a 1-5 away win at South Moor. The Anchors were leading the match 0-2 at half time.
