  Middlesbrough are out of the Vitality Women's FA Cup after going down 0-9 at home against Sheffield United. The score did not reflect the game with a solid effort from Steph Turnbull's side. The game was marred by some very questionable refereeing decisions but, the Blades were clear winners in a tie many had expected them to win. - Pools Youth returned to winning ways this afternoon as they defeated Birtley Town 6-0 at home. Mid-way through the first half Rebecca Smith gave the Pools a one-goal half time lead. A Demi Burdon hat-trick and goals from Lucy O'Keefe and substitute Katie Cooper secured the hosts' first win since coming back from lockdown. - Billingham Synthonia kept their unbeaten run going with a 4-2 home win over Boldon in Stokesley. Synners lead the match 2-1 at half time and repeated the score in the second half for a third straight victory. - North Riding League leaders Redcar Athletic lost their first game this season narrowly losing 1-0 at Poppl

  Following the sensational way in which Middlesbrough defeated Hull last weekend, they’re back this Sunday as their FA Cup journey continues with another home tie in the Third Round. Steph Turnbull’s side welcome Wem Town (formerly The New Saints (TNS)) from The FA Women’s National League Division 1 Midlands. The reward for the winners of this game is a Fourth Round home tie against Championship side Sheffield United next week.   - Pools Youth are away to Gateshead Leam Rangers in the Durham County League 1 this Sunday. After last Sunday’s narrow loss – their first ever – against Spennymoor, The Pools will be looking for a positive result to stay in the title race. - Unbeaten Billingham Synthonia host Darlington Spraire as they go looking for back-to-back wins. Spraire weren’t having the best of seasons by their standards before the enforced break but, can still pose a threat even if Synners look unstoppable at the moment. -   Redcar Athletic host Guisborough in the North Riding
